Five things that I do for fun
1. Travelling

3. Visiting Cafés with family and friends
4. Going to the movies with my family

My fun, my pleasure, my life!
I love travelling because i enjoy meeting people and interacting with them. I get to know the unique History of a place. The hills, the sea, the deserts, forests, rainforests…I love them all. It may sound strange but airports and train stations intrigue me. So many people on the move, journeying to places for fun or work or to attend emergencies.
Maybe I was a nomad more than a settler. To say that I am a rolling stone that gathers no moss will belie my true nature. I am a lover and my relations are close, a bit too close to my heart.
Which takes me to my second fun thing, cooking, feeding, hosting and being praised for it! My mind is a culinary chaos, with me planning the meal , snacks, sub snacks, all of it well in advance. I love the sound of pots and pans more like music to my ears rather than a battlefield and the food cooking, sizzling , pleasing all my senses. My secret ingredient is love snd the undying thirst for praise …
Therefore, visiting cafés with friends or family becomes my next fun thing to do. Cafe expeditions are a gastronomic adventure where every menu unfolds like a map. Enjoying the aromas and dishes I critique every cafe with the keenness of an expert eye.
I enjoy family ties, enjoy the togetherness and more so when it’s a shared experience like watching a movie together. Every movie watched together becomes a memory, more if we have had post-movie discussions.
The locales in the movies, the plot twists , the stories webbed carefully to hold our attention is probably another way of celebrating the traveler in me.
The mix of family bonds and the magic of the movies is close to me.

A Barista close to my place, cosy and warm, offers to me a personal experience with friends. The few snacks offered , on display as well as the exotic aroma of coffee infused in the air, stirs my senses. Laughter fills the place and i am left dizzy with enthusiasm wanting to come back again and again.
There are many more where the service is considerate, quick and kind.
Favourite travel destination has to be the cool hills of India , woody forests, the long cool quiet walks, with a combination of earthy and herbal aromas 💓
