The gift of love from my mother ⭐️
Ma, a gentle lady filled with a heart that was an endless ocean of love. It touched every soul she came in contact with. Her warmth was evident in all her actions, her soft glow, her smile, when she spoke, every moment of her life had that boundless affection in her.
My talented, brave, strong mother brought three of us up well. Cared , tended , fed and clothed us lovingly. She was very graceful in her demeanour and in the way she dressed. Like a gentle breeze that carried the strength of a storm she journeyed through her life. She was extremely witty and loved watching movies. One minute she would be laughing at some slapstick comedy, and the other you could see her shed a tear over some emotional scene.
She had such a witty comment on what she saw, that it was just too interesting to sit with her and watch movies or T V serials.
She had a remarkable skill for knitting and crocheting. Leaving people in awe of her skill, but never herself letting it get to her head. She may have knit zillions of cardigans, blouses , jackets , scarves for the community, and always gifted them.
What truly impressed me was her Sudoku addiction. Till her last days, she tackled the hardest version with ease. In a way telling us that life’s puzzles can be solved and that we must enjoy taking up challenges. No matter what, whether life’s puzzles or challenges, they were solved by her with focus , grace and determination.
I miss her. Her love was the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me till now.
