“When you arise in the morning think of what a privilege it is to be alive, to think, to enjoy, to love …”
― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
The trees: speak eternal truths, if you listen. They stand tall, through centuries, some torn and gone due to ravages of nature, wars and now most of all man’s greed. Painful as it is to an unexplainable degree, do we really speak tall and deliver peanuts to nature?
Our forever THANK YOU to the trees that give out oxygen for us to live and breathe freely. Let the trees stand, they live with us, some still live to tell stories of their relatives gone, and extend towards the buildings, talking, asking, whispering to the winds, wondering why they were left and their friends and family taken away.
Trees: If you try, you can connect with them better than anyone you do through WiFi. They make the earth a beautiful place to live in, so much so that people rush off to green patches to cleanse their minds and bodies and (souls?) when living in concrete urban places gets too overwhelming. What irony!!
These majestic, graceful, living , breathing things stand tall and resilient. Let the mighty fall when it is time, do not murder them. Do not set the stage for your own untimely death.
The stunning organisms with life teeming in the soil they grow in are a testament to endurance, love, life and beauty.
